Wondering if anybody tasted tried this preparation before. This
preparation is by chance, came to my mind when I moved to a new place. I still
love it as it comes out so well. I advise my friends to do it whenever they
have some time. This preparation will hardly take 25 mins.
Ingredients
- 2 eggs, whisked
- 3 tsp canola or grapeseed oil, separated
- 2 big carrots, diced
- 2 big celery stalks, diced
- 3 greens onions, daintily cut, white and green areas isolated
- 7 bowl cooked rice, ideally day old
- ¼ bowl low sodium soy sauce
- 3 tsp sesame oil
- 1 ½ bowl green peas
- 6 oz. BBQ pork, diced
- Salt and ground pepper, to taste
Directions
Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Coat with cooking
splash and add egg. Whirl the egg to cover the base of the skillet. Cook until
the egg sets, flip with an expansive spatula and cook for 1 minute. Exchange to
a cutting board. Cut the egg into 1-inch thin strips. Put aside.
Warm 1 teaspoon oil in the skillet. Add the carrots, celery
and white portion of greens onions. Cook, mixing infrequently, until the
vegetable begin to diminish, around 5 minutes. Exchange to a bowl.
Increase the
heat to medium-high and add the remaining 2 teaspoons of oil.
To it add the rice and cook for 2 minutes. Blend in the
sesame oil and soy sauce. Keep on cooking the rice, mixing sporadically so the
rice doesn't smolder, for around 7 minutes.
Add the green peas, grill pork and cooked carrots and
celery. Cook for 1 minute.
Delicately mix in the egg and green areas of green onion.
Serve.
